Index of Horn Book Articles

Updated 3/6/2024

One of the 2013 goals of The Horn Book was to complete an index of articles, from March 1996 to the present. This project was undertaken for those doing research, searching for past articles, looking for guidance on ‘how to’ make or ‘do’ a specific item or task, or merely browsing for items of interest. The index contains sections which include: A Blast from the Past, Book Reviews, Dixon’s, Guild Information, Historical, Horn Accouterments, Horn Working Tips, In Memoriam, Miscellaneous, Personality Profiles, Powder Horns, Stains / Dyes/ Polychrome, and Symbology. Not included were articles on events of the day such as Guildmaster and editor’s commentary, ‘Happenings Around the Guild,  etc. Updates will be made with the publication of each issue. It is hoped that you find this ‘Index of Horn Book Articles’ useful and time saving.

Regards,

Bill Carter Co-editor, The Horn Book
